My sweet little girl Daphne,
I know your Bridge day is 11/23 but I sprained two fingers and they were taped together for a couple of weeks. And then I fell and broke a bone in my elbow so I wasn't able to type for several weeks. I miss little one. I wish I could brush your beautiful gray fur and look deep into your eyes. I fought hard for 3 years to stay with me but your failing kidneys took you away. I am sure you had a great Bridge day party with all of your brothers and sisters and lots of new friends. I will love you forever Detter Dapheneeter. Love, your mom forever.

No matter how much time passes we always remember our Heart Dogs. I lost my first 19 years ago and I still remember and my Heart Dog took to his wings a year ago in September. They make such am impact in our lives and oh, the memories! The pain never goes away and our hearts are broken because they took a huge part of our hearts with them. Lucky for us that they chose us to share their lives with. Remember the journey and all the love you shared.

Hi Joann, So sorry I missed this. I'm so sorry you are here to mark another Bridge Day anniversary. I keep remembering Squeeker and Blackie's Gotcha Day and RB Day anniversaries. It's been over 10 years now that Blackie has been gone, which means it has been over 10 years since I brought Squeeker home with me. Seven years since Daphne left and ran on ahead of you to heaven - I hope you are able to smile from within your heart when you remember the life the two of you shared...
No matter how long they've been gone, we always remember them and cherish the memories in our heart. I still remember the very first kitties I had as a child. They are long gone by now, but I still remember them. I don't have pictures of all of them, but I still have pictures of them in my memories. I'm sure it will be the same with you and Daphne forever and ever. Hope you are doing better - breaking a bone in your elbow sounds so painful! Here's hoping you're all healed up now... Take care, - Kelly Angel Blackie's mom Angel Squeeker's mom
