Depending on where and when, I would love to come.  I am from the midwest (Iowa), and we are planning a trip back in May 2008.

This sounds like a wonderful idea!

Thanks for this great idea.

I am actually a meeting planner for an association based here in KC and the current president of the Kansas City chapter of Meeting Professionals International.

I would be more than happy to help with this project.

My work email is -
ihafkemeyer@iaap-hq.org

Let me know how I can help.

China's mom again.

Actually Port Arrowhead Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks is a nice resort that allows pets, the only draw back is not a lot of green space.  KCMPI had its June 07 board retreat here & lots of us brought our pets to the meeting.  (China and her sister loved it)

Its about 3 hours from KC & I think the same St. Louis.  If this sounds like an option, the sales person is on my board.

Let me know what I can do to help, Inge

Thanks for the replies.

Fall is the best time of year for my family, PLUS the hotel rates typically are less at the lake after Labor Day.

Let me know how that sounds.

Thanks, China's mom Inge

We live in Great Falls, Mt. Sometimes winter can and does come early. This has been a terrible snow and ice winter. Spring is very slow to cross the contintenal divide.

The boyz and I are planning a trip to Camp Win a Ribbon in Vermont during the summer. The annual and very last Doxie Day picnic for the American Cancer Society is June 14th. I have time and energy now and also into late April and early May. Please count me for help, as for being there it depends on finances, weather and contractual obligations with the boyz.
