My Bentley was diagnosed with ❤ failure.
Vet gave a cocktail of meds.
Worked for a short while, but this am he passed
His breathing became labored and then the end.
Loved him more than most people in my life
Including immediate family
Very much at a loss

I know how you feel, it's so very tough, I lost my Amber , her put to sleep wasn't peaceful it haunts me, I know she is still contacting me, trying to help me forget the bad and remember the beautiful memories we shared.

I lost my dog to heart failure 6 weeks ago. Although the meds gave him an extra 3 months, we arent sure if he completely avoided suffering in those months. I wish it was something we caught sooner and could have treated before it progressed to heart failure.

I miss him so much, but I look forward to the day I can think about him without turning to a puddle of tears. Heart failure was awful to witness and I wish all pet owners could avoid that struggle in watching their loves try to catch and hold on to their breathes.

M.y little Doxie girl suffered from heart failure as well.  She had a heart murmur stage 3-4 and the vet put her on a med to try to control the progressive heart disease It worked for about 6 months then she had an episode of heart failure this past September.  The vet said that with the right combination of drugs she would be with us longer.  She seemed to do O.K over the holidays. Then in January she had another episode of heart failure which they said was not a very bad episode.  We then took her to a Vet in Madison who said she was doing well, she made a small adjustment to her meds and said she was doing well. We came home with a bit of optimism and a week later she passed on in my arms.  Both vets were very surprised at her passing b/c they felt she was doing well.  Did she just give up?, was she in pain? I will never know but the day she passed February 5, 2020 will forever be traumatic.   I am grief stricken.

I love you Bella with all my heart and always will.
