It has been a little over 2 weeks since Macey passed peacefully here at home.  It still seems a bit unreal.  I have had to return to work and taking care of our kids and other furbabies, but there are so many times during the day and night when my thoughts drift to Macey.  I hope he has found peace after his brief battle with lymphoma.  We miss him so much and are counting the days until we receive his urn back at home.  Just the other day, while watching the morning news, I was reminded of Macey yet again when a story came on about a baby who had been born "twice".....the family had named the baby Macey.....sign or not, it still reminded me of my Macey......
//sigh//  Macey, we love you!

What a lovely family Macey had in his life.... I think our babies know how much love they give us each and every day and how much we love them. It's been 10 days since we lost our beloved Dalmatian Jesse, and I still haven't come to grips with her loss. I would give up anything and everything just to have her back- but her time had come and her spirit wanted and needed to be free. And their spirits are all together now in a great place. I wish you lots of strength and support.
