It has been 3 weeks since I said goodbye to my Shelby.  A American Bulldog who did nothing but bring joy to my life and so many others.  I light my candle in her memory every monday and think about the times that we shared.  For six years she was my confidant, friend, and constant companion.  I am at peace knowing that she is no longer hurting but I have moments where I can't stop crying and would give anything to hold her again.  It helps to talk about her and have places like this where I can share her life.

I am so sorry about Shelby.  Sounds like you had a special friend.   I am sure the memories you have will keep her alive in your heart.  3 weeks is not that long ago.

My pooch passed on 9-17 and I so understand the moments that you cannot stop crying and would give anything to hold her again.

Hang in there.

So sorry about Shelby.  I looked at his pictures and wow, what an adorable little one. I know how you feel.   At 3 weeks I still wondered how I was supposed to function.  I felt like "why should I keep on,  when he wasnt' allowed the same chance?"   But eventually I just got tired of being sad.  Please keep on sharing about her.
