Thank you to those of you who left threads at my post I did yesterday after one week since I helped our Chihuahua Peaches with her journey to the bridge. This site and each of you have helped me through this difficult time for that I am eternally grateful. Some of you have read this in my post but for those of you who have not please take sometime during you time of sorrow and grief to reflect on the joy and happiness you have had with your dearly departed friend, companion and soul mate. But, most of all, be thankful for the joy you have brought to them. I truly believe you were brought into their lives as that special someone who would care for, protect them and bring joy, devotion and most of all unconditional love into their lives no matter how long or short a time you had together. With the thousands of special friends that are euthanized on a daily bases, the homeless and the ones in a horrible and cruel environment you have spared your special someone that fate. Who knows what they might have endured and for that you need to be grateful, I know they are. I share in each and everyone of your pain, sorrow and emptiness each and every day. In closing I leave you with this. If Tears Could Build A Stairway, And Memories a Lane, I'd Walk Right Up To Heaven And Bring You Home Again. For Peaches 05-21-2008 You Were A Good Girl And We Miss You So Much. You Are In Our Hearts For Ever. Jerry and Gwen Copple Oktaha, OK.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Peaches. I truly believe in what you have said. My boy Ben is a rescue, we got him in Jan this year. He is the sweetest, best behaved dog, we are so lucky. It is so hard to let our babies go, but I know that all of my babies will meet me when it is my time. We are all so lucky to be loved as we have been.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Deep in my heart I know that I have given each of my furbabies the best life possible, but sometimes the grief over shadows this and we need to be reminded. Thanks, Kate
