Due to personal reasons, I have inactivated my old account.

This was the best way to notify all of my friends here at PL regarding my new name, as some I do not "see" very often.  I also didn't want anyone to worry about a new loss going amiss, and not getting the needed support.

For the newest members, I am so very sorry for your loss.  I remember being in your place.  I have met some of thee best people here.

My story is, I lost my dog 3 years ago (it will be 4 in March).  Jade was a chow/lab mix due to the fact her tumors had spread to her chest & lung cavity.  Her quality of life was extremely poor, and we decided it was for the best to put her to sleep.

Love & hugs to all,
Daun

Now, we are fostering for a local rescue.  And we had a "situation" which prompted some changes in our life.  Oh well, I can handle a name change.

We have a new dog, because we flunked "Fostering 101."  He's a senior, and he does have severe health problems.  So I will def need my pet peoples.  :)

Thanks for the replies ANL & Ghatten.

Hugs to all!
