Today would have been my Alfies 5th birthday, we had to have him pts on 3rd March this year because he had a bone tumour that had spread into his lungs. It is only 4 months ago and the pain is still really terrible, but it has got easier. I miss him every day but there wasn't anything anyone could do for him so I had to let him go. We went camping this weekend to tatton park, Alfie loved camping, so this weekend was bitter sweet. We haven't long got back and I went to Alfies grave in the garden to say happy birthday to him and to put a single red rose there.
Dear Alfie, mummy loves you and misses you so much, I hope you are having a nice birthday with King and Suki. We raised a glass to you last night to wish you a happy birthday.
Take care my Honka Hom.

My dog just passed away today and I put a single red rose out on his grave. I know your pain.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO YOUR SWEET ALFIE.

I know Alfie was there with you in your heart on your trip.  I also put a rose and other flowers on our memorial garden for our sweetheart Meister.

Alfie is celebrating with all his new friends today at the Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Alfie's Mum,

Thinking of you today, Alfie's 5th birthday, and I will light a candle for him.  He is such a sweetheart, I love his picture.  I lost my Grunt in February, just a few days before you lost Alfie.  He would have been 5 on March 12.  We lost our boys way too young.

Hugs,
Katharine, Grunt's Mom Forever

Dear Mummy,

I had a wonderful birthday.

I got so many presents

and you could hear the strains of

"Happy Birthday" all over the

Rainbow Bridge.

Suki and King gave me

a new ball and we played with it

all day.

Sending Lots of Wet Puppy Kisses,

Alfie

Your Little Honka Ham

I know how hard it is on

special days.

Sending you hugs and wishes

for peace.

Tomorrow is another bittersweet day for me as we are selling the camper van that Alfie and Suki loved so much. We spent so many happy times on there with them that when it drives away tomorrow, I know I will be in tears. It is like losing another little piece of them and I hate it. They did love it so and even when we weren't going anywhere, they would jump on and refuse to budge. I still find little hairs of Alfies in there, and there are probably some of Sukis too. I hate moving on, away from my babies.

I love you all so much, its hard to carry on without you and King, but I have to, but I promise I will see you all one day, please wait for mummy.
