Well...it wasn't that long ago since I was on here grieving the loss of my Jessie.  I am still not over him and think about him everyday.  One thing that helped me with the pain was a couple weeks after he passed I found out I was pregnant.  So here I am 5 months pregnant.

But...I have had a sweet diabetic cat named Elvis.  He wasn't always diabetic...in fact I got him when I was only 10 years old...he was 16 tonight when he passed.  In August 2006, I noticed he had lost some weight and when we brought him into the vet we were told he had diabetes.

We were able to regulate it for the past 1 year & 9 months, but unfortunately he lost his battle tonight.  Between yesterday & today he became very lethargic & it was hard for him to walk.  He was kinda eating & drinking...and I gave him some turkey meat today.  But when my husband and I came home from dinner he was very lethargic and it was hard for him to stand up.

So here I am again... : (

I am so sorry for your loss of Elvis.  I remember you talking about Elvis in your posts.  How awful to loose two babies so close to one another. Take care of yourself as the stress of all this is not good for your baby.  You, Elvis and Jessie are in my prayers.

Dear Christine,

I remember you and your sweet Jessie very well.
I have often wondered how you were doing.
I'm so sorry to hear about Elvis but one thin that may comfort you is that Jessie was there to meet Elvis when he got to the bridge.
They can run and play together now.
They will both be watching over you and your hubby and most of all the new baby every moment.
Two very special guardian angels to keep you all safe.
What more special gift could anyone ask for?
I am so glad you came back to your pet loss family and please know we are always here to help you every step of the way.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love and Peace,
AurichWolf

Dear Christine, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your sweet Jessie is taking good care of Elvis. My little baby was also called Jessie. I know how difficult it is... I hope you can feel better and think of your furbabies with a smile.

Thank you all so much.  Sorry I have been MIA so long...I had selfishly hoped I would not need grief support again anytime soon...stupid me.   : (

I continue to break down...especially when I see his insulin in the refrigerator and his bowl on the floor.  I do have another 3 cats left behind, but they seem to be doing okay.  Fortunately their health seems to be good...I pray it stays that way.

Hugs to everyone,

Christine

Dear Christine –

I’m so sorry for your losses of your Jessie and now your Elvis . . . so close together, I can only imagine the heartache. You sound like a wonderful fur parent, taking care of your Elvis with such love. I know it’s not easy watching our babies age before our eyes, and when it is their time, it truly does break our hearts. But I know that when they do leave us, they take all of our love with them for their journey, so they will never, ever forget us. And I also believe their spirits are lifted directly into our hearts when they leave, so they are forever with us.

Many blessings to you and your family as you prepare for the arrival of your new baby.

With warm affection,

Rusty’s Mom.

I am so sorry for the loss of both your babies - Jessie and Elvis.  They must be keeping each other company at the Rainbow Bridge.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

Dear Christine,
I can't imagine how hard it is for you right now.  Take comfort in knowing that Elvis was met by Jessie, and they both are keeping each other company.
My heart goes out to you, and I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Christine,

if you send me a picture of Elvis, I will put them together in a picture just the way they are at the Rainbow Bridge.

Love and Hugs,

CareWolf
