He's gone as of yesterday August 16. His death was unnstursl: euthanasia. Diagnosed with adenocarcinoma last week and the health was getting worse. I'm angry at cancer for even being a thing that exists. I'm angry at illness and death. I'll never have a healthy towards euthanasia.

I know that he wasn't eating for 3 days, and over the early morning of August 16 he was getting the sniffles. The emergency hospital suspected respiratory virus. Cancer weakens the immune system. How many times will I revive him to get him out of infection? He was never sick under my care. I never let him out of the house. Never declawed him. Spent $7000 in 1.5 years that I've had him and he's been getting worse.

Dad had lung cancer. It metastasized. I couldn't havd Banjo in this kind of pain. He suffered enough. Vomiting issues for 1.5 years. Adopted him from a shelter. Thoughts coming out of me as I'm crying: it's my fault. Everything. I'm not sure I'll ever be okay about euthanasia.

Cats have it so bad. Why couldn't they live forever on Earth? Why couldn't they live disease free, permanently.

I truly know how you feel.  I've lost two beloved cats to cancer, and many others from other diseases or accidents.  I also wish cats could live forever, or at least til their 20s - is that too much to ask of the universe????!!  But no, most of my 20+ cats in my lifetime died in their teens, usually early to mid teens.  It seems so wrong, so wrong, but we can do nothing about it.  And that seems wrong too.
