Dearest Basil,

I know that you will not be able to mark this day here but I do know that you will mark it in your own way no matter where you are and your little Basil will be with you wherever that might be.  But to mark it here on this his 6 month bridge day seems only fitting so I will light a candle for him using the initials BB for your Beloved Basil and use your words for him on this day.

I hope this helps you know how special we all think you are here at this message board.  You bring such comfort to alot of us here so I think bringing you a little comfort is needed.

Basil,

Happy 6 month bridge day and please let your mom know that you are with her and that however she marked the day that you saw it.  I have copied over what your mom said before she left and I know that you love her for it so here it is again sweet boy:

Basil, you will always be my only wee ginger man.  I know that you are young and healthy and playing ball once more.  I hope that you are keeping the rest of the gang in order.  Please give love and kisses to....Sorcha, Jack, Jilly, Shelley, Katy, Nicky and Tammy.  Also to Granny and Grandad.

There will never ever be another you.  Love Mummy xxx

With Love,
Margaret

Happy 6 month bridge day little Basil!  Your mommy misses you so much, and I know you are thinking of her as much as she is of you.   Bask in the sun, be a good little doggie, and come visit your mother often in her dreams.  Bless you little Basil, and your family as well.   Hugs from Houston, MsSavion
