I just finished reading "A Dog's Purpose" by W. Bruce Cameron. It is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend it to everyone here to read. It is about one dog's life living though several reincarnated lives to find his purpose. The dog is the narrator of the book and he is so lovable and funny. It is very moving and believable. I've read a lot of dog books, but this one is a classic. It honestly helped me heal more than anything I've read. I truly believe we all have a purpose and that is what this book is about. The author is brilliant in his detail of a dog's mind and heart. I feel so much better since I read this book!

I got this book but haven't read it yet...I met the author's fiance when I was in LA and we kept running into her and their cute little puppy Tucker and that is how I found out about the book (after we got to talking- since it was funny that we ran into this lady 3 times one day in LA!)

Thanks Berta. I just put myself on the HOLD list (#5) at our local library so I should have it soon. I hope it helps me heal as much as it helped you.
