Bridgeday Butterfly and Roses

I didn’t know if I should post this here, or even at all, especially since I haven't been much help here lately~  though this coming week starting today is very somber for me, but I can’t help think these are being sent from the bridge…

Today July 12 is Tweeny’s 26 Month Bridgeday

Tomorrow July 13 is my late Mother’s 12 year anniversary

Friday July 18 is my sister’s beloved Lola cat’s 3 Year Bridgeday

These BOTH bloomed TODAY! :

Five days after Tweeny went to the bridge, I had bought a peach colored rose (for my Little Peach) in the Irish Hills of Michigan, when I went to check out the cremation facility.  I planted it beneath the bedroom window she loved to look out of, next to my mother’s rose.

This year on her “Birthday” I almost walked past an endcap full of roses at a store when I spotted a single lavender colored one (purple is also one of her “colors”. (I don’t know her exact birthdate so I go with the vet’s estimated date March 1)

Then, when I was outside I saw a most beautiful butterfly in the yard.

It kept fluttering its wings so I couldn't get a decent still picture. It is in the milkweed nestled along the lilies Tweeny used to nap under.

This morning upon awakening I got a very brief glimpse of her moving her pretty little head, from the back.  My pretty little brunette- I love and miss you little darling.

My sister's feline daughter Lola had gone to the bridge the day after the anniversary of when our dear mother was laid to rest.  But I was shocked when going through some things in the basement when I found an old May calendar my mom had written on.  The day my grandmother was laid to rest (at 26 years of age) was May 12, the same day Tweeny went to the bridge- 74 years later.

Here is a link to Lola's Rainbow Bridge page- looks like she and Tweeny are cousins!

Sadly, Lola, Tweeny and my sister’s husband all departed in a ten month span.  It was the last of the rest of the "original" family as we knew it.

I have to believe they are all having a beautiful life together and that we are the ones not “home” yet.  That includes all of your beautiful loved ones.

No replies necessary, just wanted to have something to remember these flowers and butterfly by.  I hope you all get some precious gifts that will help your heart- though mine still remains very broken.

Love from Tweeny's ma

There is a book in the Children of Thriesenstadt series titled I will Never see Another Butterfly. So we must see the beautiful butterflies for all those who can no longer see this wonder. The Doxie boyz so enjoy the Monarchs and Tiger Tails that visit our yard. Thank you for the post. Each time I see a butterfly, it helps me to celebrate life and remember those that have left both young and old. Meriam Sima

Dear Anna,

I have never seen such beautiful roses and WHERE did that butterfly come from!!! These are all signs from your precious family. I believe that life is but a dream and our true home awaits us when our journey here is finished.

Much love to you and Tweeny,

Donna and Cicio
