Bud was born on Spring Equinox 19 she died on 11/11/19 - a car had hit her and her pelvis had split in two...and was no longer aligned.....she also had a fracture to her uppermost tail .......she crawled home and must have waited hours for me to finish work as the vet expressed 300 mls of urine out of her....not only did she crawl home but she managed to climb a flight of steps to get there......In the haze I decided to get Bud put to sleep .....I love you Bud..

Oh, I feel so sorry for you. That must have been truly hard for you and Bud. She had the strength to come home to you where she was loved. I wish I could say some magical words to help you at this time but sadly there are none except to say that I understand and I am sending you my understanding and compassion.
I know that there are memories that you and Bud made together so hold tight to them. One day you will look back and smile and the memory of that last day will fade.
Please share some of your life with Bud when you feel up to it. She sounds like a very strong and powerful little lady.
Love and doggie hugs

My heart goes out to you. What a testament of Bud's love and devotion to crawl home..and yours as well.

So sad and traumatizing for you...and for Bud.

Peace and love. Be well as much as can be expected. You can post here any time and discuss your feelings.
