Well early this morning our other cat, Buddy, was acting funny, acting like he wasnt feeling good and like he was dying so we rushed him to the vet and he had a mass by his heart that caused him to be SO sick and there wasn't anything that could be done since he was so old. SO today, we put him down; Its going to be SO strange not having any animals. :(

I'm very sorry.  The quick deaths might be easier on our beloved animals but they're certainly difficult for us human moms and dads.  I had my dog euthanized last week less than 24 hours after he suddenly developed terrible symptoms that turned out to be from his cancer (diagnosed several months ago).  It was heart-wrenching.

Thanks! What makes it SO hard is, there hasn't been that much time in between the last one.....we put my lil shadow, Ginger, down a month and two days ago and then today the oldest one today. All I've wanted to do is cry.

I pray your feeling of the empty home somehow gets better. You will see and feel
Them their. I know sorry doesn’t make it go away but please know that I understand your feelings as I’ve had to lay my girl lily to rest. I’m now dwn to 1 Dog. He’s 10. I had 4. I posted the last message abt surrendering my dog Fen.
Buddy knows your feelings. Where he is. He knows that you will meet again. So he has no worries. If I could remove the emptiness I sure would.
