I signed up for this site back in 2015 when my first cat, Neko passed away in September 2015. I didn't post any messages, just read other people's posts about their loss. I originally had 4 cats, 2 sisters Neko and Pika plus 2 younger cats, Samantha and Katrina. Neko died in 2015 at age 16, Pika died in 2018 at age 19. Samantha is 16 and Katrina is 10.

I put Pika down on 12/23/2018 at 1:00PM. To watch her little head go down to the blanket and later the vet telling me there is no heartbeat anymore,  I was now completely lost. I first became lost when Neko died in 2015, but I took great comfort in knowing I still had her sister. I still had a connection to Neko. Now that is gone.

I have lost my first 2 cats, 2 sisters I got from a coworker in May 1999 who had a litter of kittens. While the other kittens were wandering around ,  I picked Neko and Pika because they were busy fighting each other on the floor.

Now they are gone and I have been left behind.  I still have the younger girls, but I wish I could live in 2014 and never leave, so nobody ever dies.

I am so sorry that you had to say goodbye to your Heart Cats. I too signed up on Pet Loss over 20 years ago when I lost my beloved Dakota. He brought me another to love for over 16 years and then had to say goodbye on September 18, 2017. It never gets easier to let them go. It doesn't matter if they purr or bark, it still hurts deeply. I too wish I could go back to 2017 so I would always have Termy to hold and love, forever and ever.
I am sending you love and support at this difficult time
