Today is the one year Bridge day for my cat Thomas.  I just miss him so much.  He was such a huge part of my life.  He followed me around the house, loved to be carried around, came and told me when it was time to get his dinner ready, etc.  He loved cuddling with me at night.  Thomas, I take comfort knowing you are with many of your cat sisters and brothers, especially your brother Stan.  I still laugh at the time you broke the shutter door off the hinges so you could get in the room with Stan when he was supposed to be resting by himself due to a medical issue.  I found the 2 of you cuddled in a bed together.  You are also with your dog brother Kodiak who brought you to me and your other dog sisters and brothers.   I miss you big guy and I will love you forever.

I carry you in my heart.

Love, mama JoAnn

So sorry JoAnn. I know the feeling. These were our babies, our loves and our companions. And it is very hard. Thinking of you today on the one year anniversary of Thomas's passing. Big hugs to you. Sending care and love.

Hello JoAnn,
Paying homage to dear Thomas... For the Love of an animal, no greater feeling period.  They know when they are loved and their displays of affections concur with. How cute is you making the ''man cave'' for him and finding him and only him in it !! Memories are All we have, do cherish each one. We will Always miss their physical form-- a true Bond. What I find comforting is the Act of '' doing for'', even in the Afterlife is the ritual of ''candle lighting'' daily. Spiritually, I find it comforting for me as I  find my way through this maze of intense feelings for my dearly departed chihuahua of 16y. The candles and the array of photos keep the memory alive, keeping him close in thought. He is very near and dear as is Thomas.
Thinking of You this day.....May You also find comfort this day.....
