2 days ago I had to go through one of the worst things of my life, finding out my dog had drowned. Kimber was almost 2 years old a beautiful blue nose American bully (pocket pit) I just bought a new home and was moving out of my old home which had a pool , the night the incident happened I had last been at the house with my 8 week old daughter grabbing a few items around 8pm and I had let my dog out and my boyfriends dog to use the bathroom and fed them and gave them water, I had put them back in their room (sunroom/ breakfast nook) where they always slept and we kept them when we would leave the house, I was planning on leaving them overnight alone because my new house was not set up or had their stuff yet, i would be back early in the morning just as if I was home and they slept in the room all night anyway .. earlier that day my on and off boyfriend was fighting with me we have had a bad few weeks he let my dog outside on purpose to get lost 5 days before she drowned along with trashing my home and my decised fathers car he left to me . He had sent me over 300 horrible texts one saying your dog is in the pool you whore followed along with 3 hours of abusive texts nothing more of the dog so I paid no mind . The next day I check on the dogs they’re both gone he ignored me all day I was panicking putting signs up calling vets pounds etc finally late afternoon I get a text saying I have to tell u to your face what happened, and still no answers so I went where he was to see wtf happen to my dog he told me he came home and she was at the bottom of the pool , but I had locked her up safely before I left and no way she was out, then I fern another story saying he came home let’ the dogs outside and his dog cane to the door and Mine was dead In the pool , he had not been to the house in 3 days and was not supposed to be there or go there he showed up all of a sudden and my dog just happens to drown when he is fighting with me ?? Mind u the pool has a shallow part steps out of it and ledge around the whole pool , she’s been around it for 1.5 years never any incodent of her being in the pool falling in etc . He takes her immedly to a vet and requested for her to be cremated and the ashes sent to him! None of this makes any sense i don’t believe that she drowned on accident and I want Answers!!!

I am so sorry that you lost your baby Kimber and in such a tragic way.  You may never have an answer, but it certainly sounds like this man could have done something to your baby.  (Based on the info you provided).  You should report this to the local Police/Animal Control,  just in case.  He should not be around animals at all, his own included if he has such Anger and rage Issues.  You should keep away from him also and certainly don’t let him near your 8 year daughter.  Any one who would hurt or abuse an animal will certainly do it to people sooner or later.
