Nearly 2 years ago I had to say goodbye to my sweetpea Ebony (cat)

She didn't have an easy time of it before she was rescued (not sure how much detail I can go into) but I think it's enough to say it left her with multiple problems and the vet who saw her when she was rescued didn't think she'd live a normal life with her health problems, even after they were treated as best as the vets could deal with them.

I took her on and gave her a safe place to heal emotionally from everything she had been through and had to give her medication regularly to help her with her health conditions, 4 years after I gave her a safe place she took a severe nosedive health-wise and sadly passed away in my arms at the vets, we had to euthanase cause she had started having really bad fits as well as her other health problems.

She was a precious girl and everyone who got to know her and looked beyond her skittishness around people loved her and we were all heart broken when we had to make that decision. The vet had strong suspicions she had a brain tumour by that point, the lumps she had developed were fast spreading and she did not allow anyone to touch her on particular points of her body (she associated it with pain, from the start)

She was a gem who will always be missed :(
