I truly hope that no one on this board has been affected by the flooding.  It has been 7 months now since we lost of Rugrat, and 6 months since my mom passed away.  I know my mom and Rugrat have connected beyond the Rainbow Bridge.  We have her cat Snuggles now, and I can truly see a part of Rugrat and my mom in him.  I mainly wanted to jump in and say hello since I have been away for quite awhile, and I just hope and pray that no one here has been affected by the devastating flooding in the Midwest.  We are in SE Minnesota but all is good here.

So saddened for you for your losses of Rugrat and your mother so close together.  I am sure that they are together over the Rainbow Bridge.  It is wonderful that you are caring for your mother's kitty Snuggles.  That is sure to please your mother greatly.

Take care,

Yeah, it was tough losing them barely a month apart, but I know they are together.  Do you believe other pets can see dear ones who have passed on?  Snuggles and our baby Jackson sometimes stop and just stare at the door where my mom used to come in from her house (we have an apartment added on to her place).  I truly believe they saw her at the door looking in.  The other night Snuggles was in her living room and just jumped up and started staring into her bedroom.  Also, sitting her one day, I swore I heard her hollar for me, and Snuggles got up and ran out of the room before I could even move.  He heard her as well.  I sometimes think I hear Rugrats meow as well, as his was unique and I know it isn't one of our three, Jack, Snuggles or Greyson.  It is just too reaistic.

Hi Lori-

Yes, I definitely believe our beloved pets can see their special people that have left.  I am happy that everything is okay with you.  Its nice to see you posting again.

Take care.

How sweet you are to be concerned about everyone here.
I'm so glad you are back and hope you are well.
I know that Rugart and your Mom are keeping each other company and enjoying the peace and beauty of Rainbow Bridge.
I too have been praying for those in the flood areas and especially that all of their loved pets are safe and sound.
I'll put the Pet Loss Candle Lighting link below in case anyone wants to light candles for those in the flood areas or any other prayer request they may have.

Love and Peace,
