Today is Gabby's one year bridge day. She was so beautiful, with her sleek black and white coat, and her green eyes. And, you could see the love that she had for everyone. Noone was a stranger to our little tuxedo cat. We had to let her go due to the suffering she was going though. She was constantly constipated due to having a megacolon, and though she was on a special cat food that the vet provided, it didn't help. She also started hiding all the time, and would lay in her own feces, which we know is not normal for a cat. And she had some spine damage from a previous trauma, and it made it harder and harder for her to get around.  I wish she could of had a better life, one without pain. But, she did have love, and I hope we loved her enough to outweigh any of the bad times in her life.

Gabby, I miss you, my sweet girl. I miss the love you freely gave, and I miss your ready purr. If I was sad, all I had to do was lay my head on you, and your purr would feel my heart with joy. Now, you are free from pain, and free to be the cat you was meant to be. Enjoy chasing the butterflies, and flying among the clouds. I will see you again someday. Until then, enjoy all that there is to offer. Now, you can eat what you like, with no pain, and run across the fields chasing those rainbows. I love you, my Gabby girl.
