I had to put my cat that I bottle feed and raised for ten short months down june 9th 2008 because he went outside and a dog broke his jaw so bad the vet couldn't fix it.I feel so guilty because if I would have let him in then this wouldn't have happened. We just got him nurted ten days before this.I wish this pain would go away.I cry everythime I think about him.I remember bringing him home and even when he got a little bigger he would run to my chair jump up in my lap lay down like a baby to suck his bottle.Mira is missing you 2.We all do.I know your in heaven watching over us I LOVE YOU>

I wish I had words to take away the pain.  What a horrible thing for you to go through.  Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope that you are doing ok.  Please dont blame yourself, these things happen, it wasnt your fault.  Kitties are great escape artists. I lost 2 on the road a few years ago.  It must be so hard.  I am so sorry.  Much love, Di xxx

I am so sorry about your kitty.  I will no longer have cats for this very same reason - they are great escape artists and are free spirits.  It is hard to contain them and I can't deal with the heartache of losing another one.

You are not alone. A lot of us come here with tremendous feelings of guilt, I am one of them. I believe it is part of the grieving process to blame someone or something for our huge loss.

I hope you find peace and solace.
