On this Thanksgiving Eve, I wish to express my thanks to God for all the blessings He has given me.  I thank Him for the gift of my beloved dog, Summer.  In the almost 15 years we were together, she helped me in so many ways.  I am so very grateful to have shared my life with her.  I love and miss her terribly, but know that I will be with her again.

I thank God for the gift of my "bad boy," Jacob Wild Dog (Jake) who has been such a comfort since we lost Summer.  I love him very much.  He, too, misses Summer.

The 2 cats, Patch and Stormy, are also blessings for which I am grateful - even if they do lie to everyone who comes in about never getting fed or petted.

This year two wonderful men entered eternity at a much too young age.  They are Bill Shaw and Bob Janca.  They are truly missed not only by their families, but by all who knew them.  I feel blessed to have known them.  God please comfort their wives, sons, and friends who miss them so much  And thank you for allowing them to share this life for a time.

Hello Miss Jill, this is Gizem. I hope everything is ok with your life. I share the same thanks to God for giving the biggest 2 loves of my life,Pıtır and my mom. its been 53 days today since she is gone to Heaven though she is stll here with me. I started to work and came back to my home from moms home. Life is still hard but nowadays i see life is not a big deal,we should not consider it so serious since we will all go to eternal life one day, maybe i linger around with this excuse  maybe its the right thing to do but i believe God is with me no matter what. So i miss to talk to you. Again i want to THANK you for being there for me at the first days of my SORROW. keep in touch

Dear Summersmom:

You are incredibly strong person and show great compassion to others in your post and in your words of comfort to others who are grieving their own losses.

I also add my thanks to the Lord above for gifting me with many things, and also with the kindness of the many wonderful people that I have met at Petloss including yourself.

Wishing you the happiest of Thanksgivings and peace in your dear dear heart.

OH Trouble,

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments.  They brought tears to my eyes and touched my heart.  I thank God for you and ask Him to bless you.

And I thank God for all the petloss family and for Therese who took care of me after my knee surgery.

Happy Thanksgiving and good health to you, Trouble.

Ditto to all.

Thank you to God for giving me the seemingly infinite capacity to love anything with a leg on each corner.

Thank you for years of loving furry companions, and I hope I was a good furmom to them all.

Thank you for my loved Molly, and the years of loving devotion she gave to me. Thank you for my new little shadow Monty, who is such a good doggy (well not entirely but we are working on it) and who brings joy to me everyday!

Thank you to the wonderful people at petloss who never once say  it is just a dog..or it is just a cat..or it is just a ferret!  Few outside of here seem to truly understand what love we have for our kidlets and how devastated we are when we have to let them go

I am thinking of my sweet Molly now, with Monty at my feet in his new bed, Marty the cat lying on the TV and Magee scratching in his box....Life is good.

I can't imagine my life, starting in Grade Four with our border collie Didi, without the love and compassion and joy that these little furry critters have given to me..

Thanks thanks thanks...Happy Thanksgiving!
