I found this site in 2004, when my pack was murdered by an ex.  So many people helped me get through that grief back then.  Now I am back.  I lost one since then in 2010 but he had a long life so it was not as hard as the previous ones.  This past month, I lost my soulmate.  She was my everything and just missing her 7th bday.  Too young to die.  Thanks for welcoming me back.  I am sure I will see some of the same users, but one sticks out in my mind from back then.  Gramps.  He had lost his little furgirl and even wrote a song about her (Caroline, I believe).  He lived in NC.  He even got another doggy, a senior that I believed he called Shakes (Shakespeare).  He even met a lady on the site 😉  I am hoping they are well.  I just wanted to thank him for the support he gave me on this site back then and hoping to help myself grieve easier this time with help from coming here again.

Welcome back to a place where you can find love and support. I am so sorry for you recent loss. Our furbabies mean the world to us. I was here way back in 2003 when I lost my soulmate and found what I needed to cope. I came back again in September when I lost my heart dog. It's wonderful to love them and share our lives with them but it hurts losing them too. We are all here to comfort each other for our grief is the same. We loved and we lost. I'll always be grateful for this wonderful place to come to.
Love and doggie hugs
