My dog, who is almost 2 years old he is half chihuhua, we dont know what the other half is, was perfectly fine at 2 pm. I got called into work, so I gave him water and food. And left to work. My husband came home about 430, he went over to him because he was hearing weird noises, the dog was trying to catch breathe, he then little bit later died. My husband tried to do CPR and everything but no luck. I came home and he was not moving, breathing, anything, his body was still a little warm though. His tongue was sticking out, and his eyes were wide open. I picked him up and there was nothing, he was gone. What could have happened ?
P.s. we have another dog that is a girl who is only 6 months old, she was there with him as well.

I’m so sorry this happened. Maybe your pup had a respiratory issue that no one knew about? I’m not sure. I hope you guys are doing alright. <3

Hello Shaylee,
I feel Your Sorrow and Despair.
Chihuahuas are prone to heart enlargement, heart murmurs.
Could have been a virus, ie: Paro virus or a whole host of other reasons.
Know that you gave your little one a ''good home'' for 2yrs of his precious Life.
Feeling Your Loss this day.
