My son’s cat had kittens about a month ago. We came home tonight and as I was getting into the bath I heard a thud. I asked my son if he was ok he said yeah then hysterically starts screaming one of the kittens is bleeding. I run into the living room scoop the kitten up was getting dressed bc he was bleeding from the mouth. My son screaming I’m sorry Junior I’m so sorry. The kitten died not 30 seconds later. My son tells me he was bouncing on the couch and fell and fell on the kitten. He cried hysterically for a couple of hours. Told me he was going to the devil. I told him it was an accident he didn’t mean to hurt Junior. I just wish I could take his pain away. He cried his self to sleep tonight saying Junior was the best cat mommy I hope he’s having fun in heaven I’m so sorry Junior.

This is a hard one. When an animal dies at the hands of someone who loves them because of an "accident" it is really mind boggling for the person who caused the death. I do know that in time the pain will fade, but for now my true condolences.
