Hey everybody,

I just wanted to introduce myself.  This is my first time back in years.  I first came across this site in 2005 when my beloved cat Bagherra had died to fibrosacroma.  I had made a tribute page to her and for the life of me I cannot figure out what my user name was, so I am starting a new user ID.  Since Bagherra has died we have lost 6 more cats and 1 dog.  We are huge animal lovers.  This site is a God send for grieving pet owners.  We love our pets so much.  It is so hard to say goodbye to them.

Welcome back,
I know that coming here is because of losing a pet and the grief that follows. I first came here in 2000 when I lost my beloved Dakota and back again in 2017 when I lost my heart dog, Termy. Letting them go has to be one of the hardest things we ever have to go through. I don't think I will ever find the true bliss and joy that I shared with Termy. I have made many wonderful friends here that really understand and even though they are grieving to, they have the compassion to offer support to others.
Love and doggie hugs

God bless you both. I keep thinking that each day will get a little bit better, but it's really not. This Sunday will be two weeks since my beloved Taz died and I think today (Maybe because it's been the first rainy and gloomy day since he died and he would shake-off when he came back inside. It would irritate me then, but now it's a smiling memory.) has been particularly sad. I'm trying to take my own advice and just hang in there...
