Okay so here goes.. we have 2 dogs and they get along great. One is a 8.5 yr old 1/2 Shepard 1/2 wild mix and the other is a 10.5 yr old lab mix. The Shepard mix, Page, has always been very protective/territorial at the house but last Monday she got out and darted about 100 yards and viciously attacked this 20lb dog unprovoked. It looked like a murder scene when I arrived. They had to put tubes in the little dogs neck and Page almost got her jugular. Page has always been great with humans and especially our 2yr old. We also have a baby on the way. All that being said, we are due to euthanize but would like some feedback. Peace and love, Alley.

Having been in a similar situation many years ago I understand your pain. Our dog attacked my elderly grandmother who lived with us and with a small child in the house we had to make the decision you are facing. I know how hard this is for you but you are doing it out of love and so many of us here sympathize with you. Please take care and God bless you.
