Hi Everyone,

Some of you might remember me, a couple years back I posted about my Westie Alf that I lost, well I come today to post some more bad new, we had to put our beloved Jammie also a Westie to sleep this past weekend. My heart is so broken, she was so special and was my best buddy and my shadow, where I went she went, she loved me so much and I loved her so much, I can't tell you how hurt I am, and this past June we lost Jammie mother Lizzy, she died 4 days shy of 17 years old, which was a blessing, but losing 2 Westies in 4 months is hard to swallow, I pray that someday in the next life I will be reunited with them, and the only person who is going to grant that wish is GOD, I thank GOD for bringing them into my life and the time I had with them, please pray for Lisa and I during this differcult time. Thanks JIM

I'm so sorry you lost your babies...but you are sooooo lucky to have had them as friends for so long. That means you're great fur parents, kind and caring. Thank you for taking such good care of your furries....

Please take care of yourselves...  [[[  ]]]

Dear Jim,

I am very sorry for the loss of Jammie.  My heart goes out to you and Lisa and you are in my prayers.  I had my Maggie Rose cat put to sleep last May and I still grieve her loss deeply.

Jammie had a lot of love while she was here on earth and she took this love to the next world with her.  Love is undying and Jammie's spirit will always be with you.  The pathway of grief is a long one and eventually the beautiful memories you have of Jammie will bring you comfort and your pain will soften.

God is going to reunite us one day with all of our fur babies and the tears we shed here will be turned to tears of joy when that day comes.

Dear Jim,

I lost my dear dog, Abby in January.  My son and discussed at length whether such a dear and noble creature would be taken up into heaven.  I certainly don't have all the answers, but in our prayers I came to the understanding that our dear God - the same God that you also trust - can be trusted with the care of our departed pets.  I have been given a great peace about my Abby, where before, I was afraid of her death and doubted.  It is so hard to let them go, Jim, but the joy they bring is worth all the sorrow.

Bless  you and your dear wife during this time!

Dear Jim, I am so sorry, believe me, I am praying for you and Lisa. I feel so bad you lost both of your westies so close together, I cried for 4 mos. straight when I lost my little Buster Boy "Westie", you have to be devastated. Please keep coming back and also go to the chat room, the people in the chat room are wonderful and will give you as much support as they can, losing one is too much, but loosing two in such a short span is simply shattering.

Heaven is full our precious little furbaby's, I truely believe we will be together with them again, and that is what I call paradise, but for now know you have my deepest sympathy. Please take care of yourselves, make sure you eat and drink plenty of fluids, and try to get rest to help the healing process, It is very important. I had a terrible time taking care of myself and finally had to see a doctor don't let that happen to you. I am so very sorry for your loss.

My heart and prayers are with you.

Godspeed Little Jammie, I hope you will meet my little Buster and become fast friends. He is precious, just like you!

Busters forever mama, Joan

I thank you everyone for the very kind words and the uplifting messages that everyone sent. It is such a differ cult time for us, but somehow we will get by, I must BELIEVE that GOD will take care of all our sorrows and if we do his will here on earth, by helping our fellow man, by bringing people closer to GOD, by praying everyday, by having a relationship with our Father in Heaven, by staying in the word, and by making sacrifices for him, that if we are lucky to get into heaven, that GOD will reward each of us and what better reward to have then to have all of pets with us for eternity, thank you all and keep the faith. Dear Jim & Lisa,  I am so very sorry for both losses of Jammie and Lizzy.

I am sure you will see them again at Rainbow Bridge.  Your faith will help you with your pain and sense of loss.  We all here know what you are going through.

Bless you and the spirit of both of your babies.

Love,  Diane, mom of Dallas at the bridge 4 yrs.
