Hi dear sweet Hershala, Your brothers and i miss you so much. Last month we traveled to oregon and you with us in spirit. Your help with baby Kuggel was a big help at the motels. Mom went to visit CA and she drove alone, but you again provided support. Friday all of us are going to the Great Falls parade and then it is down to Broadwater Bat for a swim and canoe ride. You just loved that old canoe and wearing your flotation vest. Later this month we are going to your beloved Lake McDonald in Glacier. We are going to have a buffalo burger at the Cafe and then drive over Going to the Sun Road from the West to the East. I have the picture of you and Silver and Aunt Connie at heavebs Peak in my wallet. I know that Betsy Noodle help you celebrate today and I know that it was a happy day at the Bridge for you my Herhs. With loves and slurps, Momma, Siver, Moz and baby Kugs

Dear Meri,

I can hardly believe it has been eight months since your sweet boy Hersh left for the Bridge.  Time is passing by so quickly.   We humans always feel like we have so much time left....that it will be so long until we all reunite with our beloved little ones.  I guess that's our nature.  But, the time is literally flying.   Betsy's six month BridgeDay is quickly approaching (July 11) and it seems like only yesterday that I kissed her goodbye.  Meri, do you know I cannot look at the 11th of any month the same way I used to?  Now, it is a marked day, a day of sorrow, a day that will forever be tainted.   Does it ever feel that same way for you?

I am happy you can feel Hershala's spirit around you.  This is so important.  I don't know what I would do if I didn't still feel Betsy.   Probably sink into a deep hole and live there.  But, Hersh and Betts are strong, boundless spirits that stay close to their moms.  They are are blessings.

Now, for something light.  I heard Betsy is making Matzo ball soup for Hersh, per his request.  This is her first attempt, so she told him "no guarantees".  She is shredding her roasted chicken and adding a little.  She is sweet on Hersh, and he never complains about her cooking.  She is making Ina Garten's (Barefoot Contessa) special chocolate brownies for dessert and inviting all the friends to come.  Spartacus and Alana's Nugget love those brownies.  And Miss Molly never lets them run out of biscuits.  They all pig out but never gain a pound.  Now, that sounds like heaven.

Give baby Kugs, Mozie and Silver a huge hug for me.  I know they miss their little brother.  I am sending you a Texas-sized hug from one sad furmom to another.   You are such a supportive, dear friend.

MY DEAR HERSHALA, HAPPY 8TH MONTH BRIDGEDAY.  I HOPE YOUR PARTY IS IN FULL SWING AND ALL OF YOU ARE CELEBRATING.  OF COURSE,  YOUR MOM AND I WOULD MUCH RATHER YOU BE HERE.  PLEASE VISIT YOUR MOM IN HER DREAMS.  SHE LOVES AND MISSES YOU SO.  WATCH OVER KUGS, MOZ, SIL, AND YOUR SWEET MOM.

Many hugs,
Melissa, Gracie and Ralph

Meriam,

Lake McDonald is such a very special place, I know why your family loves it there. It is a healing place for my family, so peaceful and beautiful. Chancey got to be there 2 times and Digby only once but they loved it there also. When we lived in Kalispell we were there many times, at different seasons... All of our dogs loved it there.

Hoping that Kuggel, Silver and Moz have a great trip across Going to the Sun Road, hope they aren't afraid of heights!!!  Have a very pleasant trip.. I am sure Hershey will be with you in spirit..

Meri,
You were right on the money with Betsy woo-ing her red hot cry.  She LOVED hot dogs, especially if they had a little chili and mustard on them.
I can just see them lining up for their hotdogs!!!!
Hugs,
Melissa

Dear Meriam, wishing Hershey a Happy 8 month Bridge Day....since it is so close to July 4th, Nike will furnish the Hebrew National Hot Dogs, and Heinz Vegetarian Beans.  She loved both of those food items.   They should go nicely with the matza ball soup that Betsy is providing...yum!   Our fur babies will be having a feast!   I looked up at the clouds today, and there were so many formations that looked exactly like fur babies running across the sky, I could really imagine our fur babies chasing one another at the bridge.  Your posts are so sweet and such lovely tributes to your fur children.  I bet Hershala is one of the best story tellers at the bridge, just like his mother!   Hugs from Houston, b'shalom,   MsSavion

Red hots, Coney island red hots, with mustard and kraut. there are also knishes and nathans french fries. I am playing on the symphony float and the boyz are in costume on the forest service mule float. Al and Piper are walking the rout down central Avenue and the Llamas are in the Llama, Alpaca group. Great Falls fire and rescue will do the fire works display later at the ball game. A safe holiday to my Petloss family. Meriam, Silver, Mozart and Kuggel and all the furkids at the bridge
