I truly feel all the pain that every one of you is going through. As you might remember, on 7/19/2010 my parents and I lost our sweet Jackson to a terrible accident while my parents were on vacation. :(

My 2 dogs are my whole life. I love them more than anything in this world. I'm lucky to still have them, and I feel that losing Jackson has brought me so much closer to them.

I had some professional pictures taken last weekend of me and my 2 heelers, Brady and Ginger....and I wanted to share one that I absolutely LOVE.

I hope that this will make some of you smile :)

All my best,

Melanie

Great picture Melanie! Your babies are beautiful, and so are you. I love the eyes on the smaller dog. They look so intelligent. Thanks for sharing.

Great picture!!  The close connection between the three of you is so obvious!  I love the eyes of your pups.  They look so happy and content with you!

Hope all is well with you and your parents.  Rick

Thanks, Everyone! :)

I had to tell the photographer to say "You guys wanna go outside???" so they would both look at her! They are pretty attention deficit, lol.

Mom and Dad are ok. Mom started pet loss counseling at the place that cremates. They meet once a week. She just started it last week, so I'm hoping that it helps.

I hope everyone here is doing alright....I certainly think of you all a lot of the time. (((PET LOSS FAMILY)))

Thanks!  If that would make me smile, nothing will! :-)
Prayers for your Mom.  My grief counselor helped quite a bit, as did SAM-e (the over the counter mood booster) and St. John's wort tea.  And the book 'Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates', although on Day 30 it was like, 'okay, you're all better now, go about your life', and I was like, 'oh no I'm not, where's the sequel?'

"Want to go outside"...I just love those words, as do your baby's. My April would do a 360 (several) when those words where spoken.

Yes, I did smile. Thank you.
