My 13 year old Cocker Spaniel, Chloe Jane, had to be put to sleep on January 19, 2019. It's been 2 months and I still can't stop crying and feeling intense feelings of guilt. For the longest time she was my best friend and my fur baby. I miss her so very much.

I miss my dog Buck too. I also have horrible feelings of guilt, sadness and depression. I am learning that my feelings may even be irrational, but I can’t stop having them and can’t stop crying. I am so sorry for you and prayed for you. Please pray for me too. I would rather just die than feel this way, but I have a family and other dogs that need me, maybe you do too. Maybe that’s a reason to keep going. I asked Buck for forgiveness and God too. I know God forgives me and I know Buck knew he was loved. Your Chole Jane was loved and she knew it also. My guilt comes from not spending more time with him. I struggle but am trying to be closer to those in my life that are still living, it’s all I can do. Maybe that is a lesson Buck is teaching me, I don’t know. I’m going to call a Dr. and hopefully a mental health professional today. I know I need help. I wish I could take away your pain, I really do. I’m so sorry for your loss and my loss too.

Of course I will pray for you Scott.
I appreciate your kind words you wrote to me. I have a 20 month old daughter and she makes me laugh every day even as I am grieving my Chloe Jane. She's my reason to smile.
I love to think about how Chloe Jane is over The Rainbow Bridge. I talk to her every day. I will tell her to look out for your dog, Buck.

Thank you! Thank you for the prayers, I need them. Tell her Buck is the beautiful Anatolian Shepherd. Tell her to ask Buck to visit me again when he can. I love and miss him so much.

I asked Chloe Jane to look out for Buck. I have no doubt that she will. She was the kindest dog. She was my best friend. As I know that Buck was your best friend.
