It’s been 8 days since I backed over my tiny little 9 month old mini daschund, Tazzy.
I keep reliving how I didn’t see her and backed over her in the driveway. The guilt is hard to take. I was in a rush and didn’t take the time to think about where she was. Her lying there, gone forever, in an instant of neglect.
I miss her tiny warm body against me at night, I miss kissing and cuddling her. She was such a bright light in my life, she came along when I needed comfort and joy the very most.
This guilty grieving is a tough emotion to have. I don’t want to talk about it. It all just replays in my head.
I am glad to find this site and know that others have done this too, the words I have read here give so much comfort.
Thank you to whomever created this site.

Hi. I am new to this site, brought here by grief. I am so sorry for your loss. As much as you are wracked with guilt please remember Tazzy who loved you would not want you to be so sad.  I am sure if Tazzy saw you today so sad she would try to make you feel better. So I know it is hard, but please try to forgive yourself as you sweet little girl would want you to.
