About a year ago, a small feral kitten, came into my life. As time went by, I earned her trust. I had her spayed and got her shots. She loved me, unconditionally...
Today, as I got into my car, I backed up and heard something pop. I quickly got out of the car, to look....I didn't see anything. Sometihing, ttold me to keep looking and I stopped, again. As I looked, I saw my precious Miss Kitty, dragging herself as fast as she could under the house.
Due to the pandemic, I lost my job. So, I had to have her put down. I'm so torn up about this....how could I have been so careless? My heart is breaking and I've been crying for hours. My mom and son said it was an accident and that everything happens for a reason. However, it doesnt make me me feel any better. 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔

I am so sorry this happened.  I think your mom and your son are right. Accidents are inevitable, and there is nothing we can do to prevent them from happening sometimes.  You gave her a wonderful life for a year that she never would have had without you.  I know it is hard to appreciate that now, but I hope one day that will be some comfort to you.

Hi Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss, it is just heartbreaking.. I did exactly the same yesterday afternoon with the kids in the car I reversed out of the drive and ran over our precious cat. Everyone is devastated and we are so sad. We lost another cat less than a year ago too. It was two rescues and they had no fear of cars. I just feel so guilty being responsible for my kids heartache. I know it was an accident but it doesnt make it feel any better. Time will make it easier, but atm we will grief.

I am so sorry to hear that it happened to you, as well and for the loss of your fur baby. My heart goes out to you & your children. It's extremely heartbreaking and not to mention, traumatic. I will keep you and your children in my prayers. 🙏
