I can’t move. I’ve called my husband, he’s heading home . I was pulling out of our garage in our old pick up truck. I thought I might have heard Homer screeched , looked all around didn’t see him and figured it was just the old trucks engine. Parked the truck to go get into my car and put it in the garage and saw the horrible site of my cat - I looked away immediately but I cannot get the image out of my head. I feel like I should cover him with a blanket but I cannot go back out there. I cannot stop sobbing

Your stunned reaction is completely understandable. No one knows what to do when a tragedy occurs. We kind of operate on automatic pilot
and that's exactly what you have done.

Please update us as to what has happened since you posted.

I will be thinking of you,
