Went to town and had my nails done today and then met my friend for lunch.  We always go to the book store after lunch.
I decided to treat myself get my nails done and meet my girlfriend.  Been a bad week!!!!  Anyway, we were at the book store and I was looking at the calendars for the coming year.  I LOVE calendars.  Anyway, there staring me in the face was a Beagle calendar and the dog on the face of the calendar looked just like Bonnie.

My knees nearly buckled and I started crying.  I could almost reach out and pet the dog on the calendar.  It was at that point that I knew I must get another dog.  I could not stop looking at the dog and I could honestly feel her sweet soft Beagle ears.

i honestly think Bonine led me over to the calendars and right to the calendar with the Beagles!!!!  She was saying "It's ok mommie; time to get another dog".

Floyd is doing great and is coming home either Thursday or Friday.  I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  I appreciate all of you so very, very much and love you all.

I'm so happy to hear your husband is doing well, Clara. Have you won him over with the rescue dogs? You know, it's a proven fact that petting a dog lowers the blood pressure. I'm sure his doctor would recommend that! ;-)  Anne

Glad to hear your husband is coming home soon. And I wish you the best with your new pup. Adding Dori to our family really help after we lost Coop. I didn't miss or love him less but she gave me a reason to want to come home at the end of the day. And something wonderful to think about while I was at work. They're such wonderful friends.

You bet Clara that it was Bonnie's work! Awesome job. While it is difficult to think of bringing home new dog after another left us with hole in our hearts, it is their true tribute, legacy. They taught us how important it is and that it will mean no disrespect to them. On the contrary. We will still grieve, but now we have help from the best. They know. I don't know how, but they do.
I am also glad your husband is getting well and I am sure he will support you when you make the decision.

Ginger's Dad (>4months) and now getting Georgia's help.
