Yesterday as I was backing out of the driveway In a rush, I heard a thump. I saw my baby cat, 1 and a half years old, and her body was going up and down. I started screaming no one was home and I had the workers at my house go over and they told me she was dead. We had rescued her and she had one eye, was deaf, and was so little. She was so precious and I cant get the image of her dying out of my head. I miss her so much and would do anything to go back to those moments and take her out from under my car. She did not deserve this and I feel awful. I cant stop crying and feel like I will never get over this. Rest in peace to my baby Lily <3

Same thing happened to me almost 2 years ago when I ran over our Charlie in the driveway when I was backing in. We took him in when he was 6 years old. Had him for 9 years.  Great big lovable cat ( he weighed over 20 pounds). Swaggered when he walked.  Like you, I would do anything to turn back the clock and have him back. Lily knows it was an accident just like Charlie knew.  The precious memories you have of Lily is what will help you through this.
