I really wish there was something, anything, that would help lessen the pain of losing our beloved pets. I am reading a pet loss grief book, but, honestly I don't think it's really helping.
I don't want to 'wait' till the pain goes away, I wish it would go away now.
I know that it's impossible to feel such pain, forever, or at least I hope not.
The pain is physical.  It hurts.
I miss my sweet Lilly.  I hate this.
There is a tiny bit of solace, knowing that we all understand the feeling, if that's any solace at all.
There's nothing to do, except miss them, and feel heartbroken. How horrible.

Over 3 weeks in and I still cry daily. It really is a physical pain. I think my heart is crushed inside my chest and that's why it hurts. I miss my baby girl every day..

I agree and it's been 5 1/2 months since I lost my Dickens. The grief, the pain is like no other. I have no interest in anything. The holidays were just sad.
I'm so sorry for your losses. I know that doesn't really help but know you're not alone

So sorry for all your losses; we know your pain well.  We just lost our cat Bailey on Christmas morning. The pain is suffocating but I would not give up one day with him for it.  Please remember the pain is there because they loved us so much; no one can ever love us like that pet, and the more they did the worst that pain is going to be, so don't avoid it, it's something you just have to go through in honor of them.
