Today is one month since I lost my sweet baby girl Beans ( 12 year old black lab). I miss her so much! I thought of her allot today and talked to her several times. I know that sounds crazy but I do that allot. I was leaving a friends house and a black butterfly flew into my car for a few secs and then it flew out. I have seen two black butterflies since her death. It made me smile. I believe she sends the butterflies to me, to let me know she is around.

Aww! I’m sure those butterflies were her. I lost my 11 year old Eskimo dog last night and I can’t stop crying . I’m heartbroken and I don’t know how I’m gonna get through this. I feel your pain.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do through. My best advise would be to cry if you have too. I cried ALLOT the 1st few weeks, I just felt so lost. I had my fur baby cremated and she sit in my living room, I talk to her a few times a day. When I leave the house I always tell her  "i'll be back". It does get easier, but a piece of you will always be with your fur baby.

Yes I also had him cremated so he’ll be with us in our house. Thank you for your kind words.

My heart is broken too
Can’t stop crying lost without my baby girl
Nobody understands I feel so alone
I can’t sit in my living room without her I can’t sit in our park
I’m wondering the streets alone crying
I can’t sleep
I want to die

I’m so sorry for you loss! It is just terrible. It’s been 2 days since my dog passed away. And I’m experiencing the same as you. I can’t sit in the living room because he’s not there. Every time I eat I miss the feeling of him begging me for food. My house is empty without him. And I don’t know how to cope.

I felt the same way as both of you. The 1st week is the worst, its always going to hurt and i cried today thinking about my Beans. The emptiness may never go away. Its hard for me because I live alone and she was my BFF always by my side. I'm learning to live without her, even though its very painful. You are not alone in your grief.

Like you all I live alone I lost my mum two years ago my little girl was my mum’s assistance dog
I couldn’t have got through it without her and the lockdown we were inseparable
Now I live in the house I shared with them both photos on the wall I can’t stnd it.
I’m so lonely I see them both flashbacks all day and night
I can’t bear the pain I can’t live without my beautiful girl
