For any of you wonderful Mom's out there who may be having a bad day;

"The light of my life"

You have to stay this time mummy
I now have to be free
Don't be so sad mummy
for now I'm at peace
Let go of your pain, let it take part of you
because from out of these ashes, a new life will bloom
Don't look for me in places I have been
I am in your heart mummy
and inside your soul
..and everything that reminds you of me
see, I'm not really gone
Don't be lost in the dark
or scared when you're alone
My spirit is near you, and my light will shine on

'to be blind and not see her magic and what she's given me
- to sit in the dark alone and not embrace what love I've been shown
now that, would be the tragedy'

Hope this may have brought some comfort to you.
Jerry in Oklahoma.

Thank you for sharing a beautifully written poem.

My Blue was PTS this Monday evening, and my heart hasn't been the same since. She was the first one I've had PTS. Riefer was supposed to be PTS, but he passed away at home. Blue was diagnosed & gone within an hour. It's still so surreal. And it's close to Riefer's 2yr BridgeDay Anniversary on July 8th.

Thank you again for sharing.

Jerry,
What a lovely poem. Thank you for sharing. It's what my heart needed today as my sweet schnauzer Molly's 9th Month Bridge Day comes on July 8th.
I'm with Mary. Did we miss pictures of Peaches?
God bless you and Gwen.

Marry/mollyboltsmom;
I have tried to post a photo of her but have a problem, don't know if it is here on my computer. I followed Ed's instructions, after I hit upload it starts but half way through it says waiting to connect to http://forms web site. It will stay there and go no further. The photo is in the format he needs but have been unsuccessful each time I try to upload one.--------Jerry

Thank you so much Jerry for the lovely poem.  Today is Scruffy's birthday, she would have been 19.  A long life for sure, but never long enough for a mom.

Thank you for your beautiful words...I  cried all the way through it. I miss my baby so much. My Bella passed away on June 16th, and I miss her terribly.

Thank you so much.

Thank you so much, Jerry.  I truly believe those words.  I feel my Betsy's shining spirit near me every single day.  Although I can't physically see her, she still infuses such joy into my life.

I know Peaches does that for you.  I can tell by the way you write about her that she is still right there beside you in spirit.

Jerry,
Are you using Windows or Mac? I used a Mac and uploaded my picture of Molly from iPhoto with no problem.
On the other hand, in order to get my picture to post, I have to use Internet Explorer. The menu just doesn't exist for inserting anything when I use the Mac and Safari. Thank heavens we kept the Dell when we went Mac.
Don't know if this helps at all.

Jerry,
An addendum to what I just posted about the Mac and Windows.
I always surf using Safari. I just checked; if I use the Firefox browser instead, it has all the features that Internet Explorer has, including inserting images.

Dear Jerry,
As I wipe away my tears after reading your gentle words,, I can smile because there is so much wisdom in each word that you wrote.
They are the Light that remains inside of us and sometimes when we feel as if we are so lost, their Love keeps the light burning brightly & lights our way as we walk this path .
Thanks for sharing this beautiful poem with all of us. You are so kind.
Hugs to you,
Max's mom Jo
