So I pulled out of my driveway this morning to see my cat on the side of the road after having been hit by a car last night/early this morning. my whole family is a wreck, and i cannot stop crying. he was only 6 years old and we’ve had him since before his eyes were even open. if anyone has any advice on how to move on or handle the other cats (who seem to be looking for him) it would be much appreciated. i’m very angry, hurt, and confused. he was so close to being back home in the yard, i’m so mad that the one second difference made the outcome so devastating.
