Long story short- my dog Jeter (13 yo, Poodle/Shih Tzu mix) has been missing for 3 days. I found some Coyote Scat containing fur very similar to my fur baby's on a nearby trail. While I know this isn't definitive, there's no body and I haven't given up hope of finding Jeter (the neighborhood is plastered with posters, I check the shelters in person daily, have posted on every social media outlet I can think of etc...) However, I also know I have to prepare for the worst- if he was taken by a coyote(s). My mind keeps racing back and forth and I find myself bouncing between hopefulness someone has him and is keeping him safe, and the "what if" scenario of being taken by a coyote. I burst into tears randomly.... ive even thrown up from nausea (I'm assuming from stress and anxiety?) Everyday feels harder than the day before.... I FEEL LOST and SAD and ANGRY.

Thanks for listening/reading....

So sorry for what you are going through. Don't give up hope. Our neighbors little dog was missing for 2 weeks and eventually was found.
