I lost my bulldog of 9 years last week. She had cataracts over the past 4 years and was fine getting around rarely had issues if at all. We have a pool and she went in and out 4 to 5 times a day and I didn't worry about her. This last time was different she didn't come back I went out to find her floating. I found she made it around the pool to go to the bathroom as usual but I can't figure out what made her end up in the pool. She was so happy to go out that morning. I miss my girl so much and feel so guilty. I did not notice over the past week she was acting a bit strange about eating and woke up coughing but I don't know how she ended up this way. I know she was up in age, but she didn't deserve that death she was my sweetheart and next to me at every moment. My heart is crushed and I wish I would of went out sooner.
