Termy, today is Christmas and Mommy wanted to write and say have a wonderful Christmas at the Bridge. I miss you today as much as yesterday and as much as I did on Sept. 18th. It hasn't gotten better, yet, but I'm hoping that knowing you are free of the tired and worn out body you had on earth is no longer a burden for you. Knowing that your heart and mind was to make mommy happy but your body was letting you down and letting you go was my final act of my deepest love for you. Your struggle with life ended and mine began on Sept. 18th. I wish everyday that we could have had another life time together and to take another journey down life's road and make more memories but this is just a wish. I shoveled paths in the snow today for your sissy and remembered the times we shared many years together making those same paths. How I wish I could have turned around and saw you there in those paths following mom as I shoveled. I'm guessing those memories are all that mommy has left. All the memories we made will be all I have left and will have to last for now. Go my little man in your healthy new body and enjoy being young again and always remember mommy loves you and misses you everyday. I'll try to be strong, for you. Don't forget me, until we meet again. Fly strong with your angel wings, my love.

love you
mom

I was blessed to make it through Christmas before things started going down quickly. I too will be feeling your pain tomorrow. Our best friends have such a short life here on earth. It’s my hope, and belief, that when our time comes, they will be waiting with tails wagging, to greet us once again. Then there will be no need for good byes again.
