I'm really sad tonight. I got too baby bunnies two weeks ago. Both boys. I noticed the 11week old boy Flossypants just lying in the outside part F his hutch today not moving. I picked him up. He was breathing but floppy. I took him to the vet. She checked him. Sadly she said we an try fluids and stuff but there was no guarantee he would survive at such a young age. He was losing weight faster than he could put it on.
I made the difficult decision to have him put to sleep. He is peacefully buried in the back yard. I am worried that his male bunny in his hutch will miss him. I'm getting another white male on sat so he isn't lonely.

Heart broken and sad tonight

I am so very sorry this has happened to your little family of people and bunnies.  They bring such innocent, happy joy to a family, don't they?  They are so happy to just BE bunnies, no agenda, no issues, and no artificial sentiments.  That's why they are such great companions.

Yes, your other little one will feel this loss, and a new companion will definitely help all of you.  Still there is no one who can replace Flossypants (LOVE that name), and he has carved a well-deserved place in your heart as you grieve his unexpected loss.  I am thinking of you.

Hello Niknak,
Sorry to hear about your baby boy passing!
How are you and your other bunnies doing these days?
