I have lost my beautiful staffie cross today at approx 4pm. She was a few weeks away from being 17 and she was the light of my life. The tests she had showed kidney failure and I had to let her go. I am heartbroken and looked online straight away as I haven't got many friends. She was funny, happy and we spent all day and night together. I am lost and can't believe she has gone. My heart hurts. I'm thankful my husband got to us before she went to sleep because she worshipped her dad. Love you Molly Doll xxxx

I am sorry for the loss of Molly Doll,

To have reached that age shows she was loved and taken care of. Words lack me to comfort enough but please know we are here to help you get through these hard times. I have found a lot of comfort reading through the stories of people on this forum and found that the love we all shared for our furbabies to be uplifting.

Do not fight the tears, do not fight the pain but allow yourself the time to grieve. Remember the good times you had together and not today. I am sure Molly would want you to smile and not cry.

Stay strong, we are here if you want to talk.

Thank you, you are very kind. My first night without her is making me very anxious and i'm looking for her. Such a huge part of my life and I feel that half of me is missing. I didn't think I could cry so many tears. It hurts so much to lose her and i'm afraid to sleep as I know I will have to wake up and not remember. Thanks again.
