Well friends, just wanted to pass along two inspirational stories I read over the last year that I found a different kind of comfort from.

They actually made me both laugh and cry but also gave me much needed validation that there are many other kind people in the world who understand this truly unique bond we all share with our animals.  Each of their stories was told in a very poignant way and really touched me.

Again, they are more for enjoyment but I believe worth mentioning because they have helped me in my healing process.  I'll bet many of you have read at least one but for those who haven't, it's worth the time to do so.

Here they are:

Marley & Me by Josh Grogan (Also due to become a movie soon)
Rescuing Sprite by Mark Levin (This one really spoke to my heart)

Take care friends, and hope this helps.  As a matter of fact a wonderful friend here from the boards put me onto Rescuing Sprite and again it really was worth reading.

Hugs to all of you, JasminesMom (Kathy)

Thanks for sharing.  I always saw Marley and Me on the shelves, but never bought it.   As for Rescuing Sprite, I think I recommended it to you.   I went to the book signing of the author, although so many dog lovers there and the wait was too long.   Believe it or not, I am waiting for a quiet time to start to read it.

Hope you are doing well.   Last few days for some reason have been hard for me.

Many hugs, my friend.
