Dear Jan,

I would like to extend my sympathy for the loss of your precious Amber.  I'm at work so unable to check the website you mentioned..I just wanted to let you know my heart is with you and I sure know your pain.  It's very very hard to let them go.

Sending you hugs,

Dear Jan-- I'm so sorry for your loss.  What a beautiful girl your darling Amber was.  I'm sure that she is young and healthy at the Rainbow Bridge.

             Many thoughts & prayers--Teddy's Mom

Thank you very much.....yes, the pain is still very great. I live alone and she sure filled the void. Thank you for visiting the site.

Dear Jan,

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss of your beautiful Sheltie girl, Amber.  I read your wonderful tribute to her and was so impressed by both of you.  How blessed you were to have found each other.  In your tribute, you said something that really touched my heart and mind:

"Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional."

How true, my friend.  I lost my beloved 16 year old terrier, Betsy, a little over four months ago, and I have felt great pain....but misery, never.  I have too many joyful memories of her for misery to ever occupy any space in my heart and mind.

I have lit a little internet candle for Amber under her name at AurichWolf's Light a Candle Here thread on this grief board.  It will burn for the next 48 hours.

Sending you hugs,
Betsy's forever mom
