Last week I lost my baby to cancer. I found my kitty when I was 3 and I never had a kitty before. 16 years wasn’t enough. I miss my baby so much. It seems like my tears will never end. Daphie was my best friend and now it feels like I have nothing. She was my happiness and now all I can do is look at the ground and not my baby. I just want to hold my baby kitty again. It hurts so much not having her by me. And I need her now more than I have before

I’m so sorry for the loss of your wonderful kitty. It’s awful to be going through this but you’ve come to a good place for support. I hope this forum can give you some comfort as it has done for me. People understand here what you are going through. Please look after yourself through this extremely difficult time and know what a great life you gave your kitty. I have found that time is helping me to gradually heal though I know I will never stop missing my girl and wouldn’t want to but it gets more bearable.

Thank you. I really miss her so much. All I want to do is hold and kiss my baby. It hurts that I can’t anymore. I just wish I could. I go to see her everyday and it helps but It’s also another reason I’m hurting. I keep telling myself she won’t be in pain but without my little kitty by me I feel lost

I'm sorry you're going through this loss DaphneDoodle19. I too wish nothing more than to hold my baby again. It's been almost 6 months since he died, and I still don't know what to do with my arms when I'm relaxing. They feel empty. I find that holding a pillow or scrunching up a small blanket in my arms helps me to trick my body into relaxing... like my body just assumes that my cat Pumpkin is there. It's not the same, but it's a small comfort. I hope that helps, and if not, I hope you find something that soothes you in these moments.
