Unfortunately I know the feeling too well where it seems like my family might not be as hurt by our loss, and it drives me nuts! I don't mean that I want them to be heartbroken, but it hurts when they won't talking about our babydog.. Sorry to hear you are going through this struggle as well and so sorry for your loss!

Thank you for replying back! It's hard but I keep telling myself time heals... It's too soon right now but I know I want another fur baby maybe by Christmas... It's just so quiet without him......

It's fortunate to know that there are people like you who are able to open their heart and home to an other furbaby! Time does heal, but I understand it's so fresh for you still.
Blessings ⚘

I understand, sometimes I feel like my family and my husbands family are a little insensitive to our loss. But I know that a lot of times people just don't know what to say or do around someone who is bereaved. A lot of people don't like to feel the emotions of loss and often hide or distract themselves to the point where it makes them seem they don't care. At least that's what I've read and tell myself when I start feeling angry towards people that seem like they don't care. I understand your feelings of emptiness too. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Caroleena I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  You are a sensitive spirit and had a very special connection with your schnauzer.  You do you.  Feel all your feelings, cry it out.  Maybe create something beautiful to remember your pup.  Don't worry about the others, who knows they may be grieving deeply in their own way.  Take good care of yourself, friend.
